Lucky Moment On The Piedmont Trail

Wooden steps on trail. Photo from Line of Cedars blogI went for a trail run this morning. LOVED IT. Trail running is so different from road running. It's a completely different kind of tired at the end of it. There's something raw and gritty and base about finishing a run with your ankles spattered in mud and scratches on your legs and arms from vines and low-hanging branches, and new muscles aching because you don't usually use them on road runs.

I always let someone know when I run a trail alone, just in case anything should happen.

Decorating Diaries: Closet Cleaning Continues...

Oh, the horrors! I thought we were farily neat people who kept our clutter under control. That was until we spent yesterday excavating the inner rececces of the closets in the exercise room. This is what we pulled out. It looks like an advertisement for Hoarders

The only thing supposed to be on the floor are the bike, the treadmill, and the chair. Everything else came out of two small closets.
We hauled a TON of stuff out to the car to take to Goodwill and Blair has about 6 sports coats and suits he's going to take in to be altered. Big difference though. Closet now clean and we even have empty shelf space.

Sorry for the sideways shot.
