A random list of small things that make me happy:
Fall weather
Quinoa - looking all innocent likeOkay. First I just want to say that it's not my fault.
The recipe I made last night from the Engine 2 Diet book for Red Beans Over Quinoa with Kale said it served 2-4 people. Blair and I are not shy eaters and typically we find that a recipe that says it serves 4 generally gives each of us a healthy portion plus one small meal leftover. So it's NOT MY FAULT that there is now enough Red Beans and Quinoa in my refrigerator to feed a mid-sized middle Eastern village for a week.

HOW TO WIN A FIGHT WITH YOUR SPOUSE
The first thing you need to know about Blair and me is that we rarely fight and when we do it's more discussion vs. fight. We've never once, in the history of our marriage, had a screaming or even yelling match. I have to send all credit for this Blair's way. Me? Hair-trigger fuse. I'll scream at a grape if I think it will help me win an argument.
My web designer Melody Watson kindly reminded me that my old blog photos aren't lost but rather just need to be pulled in from the place where they're resting. (She said it more eloquently in techie-speak, but this is my "For Dummies" understanding of how it works.) Anyway, she went through some files and pulled some Harris Halloween pics out for all to enjoy!
